Terms & Conditions of Sale

General

All of the products on this website are made with care in a smoke-free environment. We undertake the production of hand-printed wallpapers in our own workshop or in shared facilities in England. Materials, dyes and inks are chosen for their longevity and colour stability and, where possible, to reduce unnecessary impacts on the environment.

Some fabrics may be printed by the latest digital technology by external suppliers.

We also stock certain items from carefully chosen partners in Europe and this is made explicit.

The miniatures, room boxes or decorative products for use in dolls’ houses that are sold on this website should not be considered toys and are not suitable for children under 14 years old. Their size and delicate construction means that they should always be treated with care.

All items for sale remain the property of At Home with Mrs Hogarth Limited until they are paid for.

Please ensure that you also read our policies regarding Shipping and Returns and Cancellations

Ordering

We mainly accept orders for standard products through this website and its online credit and debit card payment options which include VISA and MasterCard debit and credit cards and American Express (payment services are provided by a company called Stripe – there is no need to have an account with them, there are no processing charges and your card details are not retained).

However, if you prefer, you may also place an order by telephone, email or post and alternative payment arrangements can be arranged, for example BACS or Paypal.

Despatch of Orders

Standard products, or products with small variations may take up to 4 weeks to be despatched – you will be kept informed of the status of your order.

The time required to prepare a fully bespoke order will obviously be dictated by the complexity of the commission and your requirements, and this will be discussed during the commissioning process.

Discount Codes and Special Offers

From time to time At Home with Mrs Hogarth will issue discount codes, which are redeemable against a customer's purchase of goods worth over £15 from our website. Codes are usually provided when an individual has confirmed their subscription to our Mailing List or has earned an incentive through some other explicit means.

Please note that only one code will be sent per person for each offer and – if you have received a discount code from another source - only one can be applied to a single transaction. Unless explicitly stated to the contrary, offer codes always exclude postage and cannot be applied to bespoke items. The code will always have an expiration date which should be checked carefully as it cannot be used after the date stated.

Import duties and taxes

Import duties, taxes and other similar charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. All items are shipped from the United Kingdom and buyers should be aware that they will be responsible for all taxes and customs duties which are applied by the country of destination. Check with your country's customs office to determine additional costs and any restrictions on imports prior to purchase.

Product Information and Photography

We strive to ensure that our products are described as accurately as possible.

Size information is given in the item description and we endeavour to ensure that one of the photographs always includes ‘scale information’ contrasting the item with a metal rule.

All of the products have been photographed in natural daylight. However there might be slight variations between the photographs and the miniature that are beyond our control due to the representation of colours on your screen or monitor.

Photographs in room settings provide context and inspiration.

In some cases the materials used to construct the miniatures are unique – for example antique wood or vintage fabrics – this means that there may be slight variations from one creation to another and there may be colour variations and irregular weaves or other unique qualities that are characteristic of the natural or vintage materials. These irregularities are not faults, but characteristics of the work.

If you would like to be emailed additional photographs to help with your decision we are happy to do this.
